BIOGRAPHY:

ROBERTA BIZZARRI, Umbrian artist born in 1979, has been in the world of art since she was very young and is self-taught by choice. Her art is innovate and original: her techniques are unique and hard to imitate as inventiveness, precision and infinite patience are required.

Roberta Bizzarri is a versatile artist. She uses a wide range of creative materials and her ideas and imagination are in constant motion. The techniques that she uses are numerous, from the most traditional: like the use of oil, acrylic, charcoal, chalks, watercolors, red charcoal, etc. to the most important and original ones, which she herself has created. Paintings realized with flower petals and leaves, paintings realized with Sagrantino and Vernaccia wines, mosaics of colored beads, sequins, rhinestones and Swarovski etc...

She has had the honor of creating large paintings with dried and fresh flowers for both Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, on the occasion of their visits to Assisi. She exhibited pictures of flowers at the Vatican, in St. Peter's Square, for the celebration of the Patron Saints Peter and Paul in the presence of Pope Francis.

Her works are a jubilation of brightness and colors: her great ion, stemmed from the strong presence and love of God in her own life, is Sacred Art and the Angels (in fact, she created her own angel and made it her hallmark).

The artist, born and living in Umbria, has always been particularly fascinated by the Spiritual Life of Saint Francis of Assisi. This profound feeling has been further strengthened by the fact that the Franciscan Third Order was established in her hometown of Cannara. Here is where St. Francis of Assisi preached to the birds. These elements have greatly increased her desire to create numerous dedicated works to the life of the Saint.

Roberta Bizzarri's paintings are exhibited in public and private collections.

Numerous articles and interviews talk about her and her innovative art. She has realized artworks for important books of poetry and participated in numerous extemporaneous exhibitions and competitions, obtaining prestigious awards. Her works are appreciated worldwide, they are exhibited in many Italian and international galleries: in , Belgium, Russia, Brazil, Albania, the Principality of Monaco, Japan, and soon her Art will be in the United States, in England and Switzerland.
