Pipit Yamamoto Profile Picture

Pipit Yamamoto 59z2u

Japan
Artist (Painting, Drawing)
Born 1960
Pipit expresses the beating of the soul as art. That sensibility creates art. The more you see, the more appreciative. A picture of sensitivity is born. We call it “PULSE-ISM"

I have been continuing my creative artistic activities in both Japan and abroad, produced over 5000 artworks, including 2 murals of 14.5 meter wide x 4.5 meter high, posters and CD jackets, etc. I received various winning prizes.

People look at my art and told me the followings:

" It's in motion! You've actually captured something
that normally stays in its place, yet you somehow gave it movement, the clouds,
the water, the wind, fantastic!! " " I will be sucked in while I am watching Pipit’s art.” "Lookly simple but, I don't know how they are to be beautiful and amaizing art working. Its result is so impressive. Genuine idea and great job. " " Beyond imagination. Really brilliant. " " The more I see the more I appreciate" " Imaginative and branded." " Your expression is touching me. Make me happy.” " The impact was so great that it made me feel wonderful." " It’s a gift you have. " " Healing" " I have never seen such an artwork " "Pipit's pictures are contained of the mind/spirit." ”I think you have a nice style.
You show in your pictures what your soul have seen.” " Lines and combination of colors have an aesthetic sense" etc.

Why are such pictures born? There are painters who draw with the aesthetic sensitivity of the childhood like Kiyoshi Yamashita & Henri Rousseau. Their sensitivities are not disturbed by their knowledges. They express emotion freely like children. My art was born from the feeling squeezed out from my soul, after Japanese characters and mother nature overlapped and collaborated, as the soul beats. A few spiritual people told that I am a soul painter.

Great nature always influences my art, and I create my art from the beat of the soul.

My favorite thing to do as a child was to draw pictures. My childhood dream was to become a wizard. I realize now that the dream came true in my art world because I am, like a wizard, freely making, mixing and creating magical worlds in my work. While living in New York city, I had the opportunity to make 5 sole exhibitions, and I received 3 awards. I made a dozen of sole exhibition in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka.
I always create when I am in a zone; I must feel the pulse of my soul – I call it ‘pulse-ism’.
