This sculpture is part of the "Body" series — a personal and deep exploration of what it means for a woman to embrace her natural, unique feminine essence.
Each curve, each line speaks of the quiet strength found in softness, of the beauty that lives in authenticity. This work invites us to see the Body not as something to fix or fight, but as the sacred vessel of the Soul — worthy of love, presence, and reverence.
Through this series, I reflect on the transformative power of accepting ourselves as we are, and on the deep tenderness that emerges when we begin to love the body that carries us through life.

I am Aleksandra Krasnopolska, a contemporary artist from Odessa, Ukraine. Before turning to sculpture, I worked as an architect and interior designer. However, my path to sculpture was neither planned nor intentional—it emerged from a deep inner need rather than a professional aspiration.
When I first took clay into my hands, I never thought of becoming a sculptor. Working with it was, above all, a form of art therapy—a way to navigate a profound internal crisis. Sculpting became a meditative practice, a moment when I could let go, allowing my hands to move intuitively without attachment to the final result. The soft, flowing, biomorphic lines that appeared in my work were never pre-designed or sketched—they were born in the moment, in the flow.
My mind quieted, thoughts dissolved, and I became fully immersed in the act of shaping form. For me, it was never about the outcome—it was about the feeling, the presence, the synchronization of body and mind in the creative process.
Over time, my relationship with sculpture evolved. What began as a deeply personal and almost intimate practice grew into something much greater—an independent artistic language of its own. Yet, the essence of my process remains unchanged: it is still intuitive, organic, and rooted in sensory perception. Each of my works carries a trace of that original impulse—the desire to feel, to connect, to transform inner experience into form.
