He moved to Milan almost immediately, and is therefore a Milanese citizen by education, culture, psychology and habits. He demonstrated a strong interest in drawing and color at an early age and attended the drawing and painting courses at the Girala College with great success and satisfaction. These years will determine the fundamental conditions for his artistic and professional future. They are hectic years, full of events, student, social and youth movements, in which the young Pieramati is a participant, but he never leaves out painting which always remains his dream, strengthening those aptitudes that would have led him to attend the Brera academy . After his technical diploma and experiences in different fields, where he didn't feel fulfilled at all, he left his job and his family of origin, dedicating himself entirely to painting, but also to graphics and applied arts. From 1980 to '83 he traveled around Europe, stopping in Greece and Spain. In recent years he broadened his intellectual and aesthetic horizons, thanks to the knowledge of artists and personalities from the art world in a comparison of current affairs and history, techniques and poetics. He thus lays the foundations of his artistic discourse called "Computerism", which is a reference to the theory and practice of the decomposition of images, attributable to the avant-gardes of the beginning of the century and now taken up again with the new sensitivity favored by new communication technologies. Back in Milan he opens a studio continuing his analytical iconographic research. Alongside the so-called computer research, which continues to be the central part of his pictorial work, he combines an experience of images of the city made from a playful and cheerful perspective, entering the world of advertising and graphics. Companies such as Casio and Lorenz use his ideas and proposals to set up their collections, helping to spread his work internationally. His way of representing cities, streets and squares becomes a ticket to fame that makes him known and appreciated. In 1983, the municipality of Milan dedicated an exhibition to him in the Arengario spaces. Since 1980, continuing his research on the multiple perspectives opened up by computerism, he has explored the meanders of visibility with his works, renewing with each achievement the enthusiasm to always move forward, articulating, differentiating, confirming, innovating.
