"Maiko – The Vanishing Era" is an exquisite oil painting on canvas (92 x 72 cm), capturing the grace and elegance of two maiko—apprentice geishas—symbolizing the fading beauty of traditional Japanese culture. The delicate brushwork highlights the contrast between their luminous white skin, the deep black of their kimonos, and the rich red accents in their hair accessories. The textured golden background evokes the nostalgic charm of Kyoto’s historic streets.

Aloosan is a self-taught visual artist whose deep ion for art led her from intuitive beginnings to international recognition. In 2003, she became a member of the International Union of Artists in Moscow, Russia. She later continued her artistic development in Paris, where she ed the Association of Russian Artists of Paris and was itted to the Maison des Artistes () in 2010.

Her expressive practice blends abstract figuration with rich textures and vibrant color. Working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media — including metallic pigments, plaster, and sculptural elements — she creates emotionally charged pieces that invite reflection rather than dictate interpretation.

Aloosan’s work has been exhibited in galleries and art salons across Europe, Russia, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates, and is part of private collections worldwide. She regularly participates in international exhibitions and salons and is represented by galleries around the world.

Artist Statement – Aloosan

Aloosan is a contemporary visual artist known for her vibrant, emotionally charged paintings and sculptural mixed media pieces. Working with oil, acrylics, plaster, polymer clay, and metallic pigments, she creates bold, tactile surfaces that shift with light and angle — inviting the viewer into a dynamic, sensory experience.

Her process begins with color — not as decoration, but as instinct and language. Each work is a visual echo of emotion, memory, or ancestral symbol. Some pieces reference fragments of temples, forgotten ruins, or sacred remnants. Others erupt in pure chromatic joy, affirming life, movement, and inner energy.

Inspired by light, transformation, and the tension between stillness and flow, her works are meant not just to be viewed — but lived with. She believes that art is a form of presence — a portal of feeling, texture, and light that belongs in everyday life.
