Ana Maduro, Portuguesa, nascida em Lisboa, com 47 anos. Cedo começou o seu interesse pelo mundo da pintura e do desenho, mas a sua formação académica levou a que tirasse o curso de Geografia e Planeamento Regional, na Universidade Nova de Lisboa, desempenhando atualmente, serviço técnico superior, tendo a cargo as funções ligadas ao serviço de SIG Municipal e Cartografia na Câmara Municipal de Mértola.

O interesse pela Pintura, desenho e fotografia, nascem também com esta formação acadêmica e do trabalho que desempenha diariamente. Os pontos, as linhas e os polígonos fazem parte do seu dia a dia. Realizou alguns workshops na área da fotografia  e pintura e participou em algumas exposições artísticas. Recebeu o segundo premio de fotografia na exposição Bienal Maurício Vargas, em 2014 e faz, no mesmo ano, faz a sua primeira exposição de Fotografia intitulada GENE.

Considera-se uma autodidata, com fascínio pelo desenho técnico e pela geometria. A pintura em acrílico e aguarela são sobretudo um escape a esse desenho mais técnico, levando a colocar a pintura abstrata num dos primeiros planos enquanto artista.
