Aurélia Brunet, photographer and pastel enthusiast, is a multi-ionate attracted above all by the graphic arts.

At the moment, her two main artistic activities are pastels and photography. With pastel, she creates realistic works from photographs, pushing the limits of the technique to give the illusion of a real photographic image. In photography, she focuses on nature, mixing her subjects with light and playing with blurs to create the opposite effect, giving the impression of a painting.

Introduced to nature photography since 2011 by her photographer husband, this practice has allowed her to gradually overcome her fears of insects and spiders, while developing a better understanding of living things.

The discovery of pastel, meanwhile, is the fruit of his meeting with Émilie Cousin, his drawing teacher, specialized in animal drawing. Being a designer since her youth, Aurélia naturally appreciated this delicate technique and integrated it into her artistic practice.
