Après avoir suivi pendant 2 années les cours aux Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, participé à différents stages et fréquenté divers ateliers de peinture, c’est bien dans celui de l’artiste peintre pastelliste Anne d’Aressy que j’ai découvert et me suis intéressé à la technique du pastel sec, technique alliant à la fois le dessin et la peinture. Tout en étant doux au touché, le pastel a cet aspect velouté qui contraste avec l’intensité et la puissance de la couleur que j’affectionne. Ma peinture reste dans sa globalité figurative. Avec le temps elle a de plus en plus tendance à aller vers l’essentiel, retenir simplement l’émotion en supprimant les objets secondaires tout en privilégiant la couleur et la lumière. Une autre vision des éléments et des objets qui nous entourent.
