Claude Ruby is a contemporary French painter. From an early age, he was ionate about painting and took classes from Louis Benisti (laureate of the Casa Velasquez and friend of Albert Camus). He learned the basics of academic painting and acquired the knowledge and skill necessary to master drawing and perspective. With the help of the Ecole Lyonnaise, he perfected his technique, learned oil painting and found a personal way of bringing color to life.
His unique and exceptional work as well as his search for perfection have been noticed by the public and the experts who give him recognition and awards. Today his paintings are in private collections all over the world. He was president of the Kiosque des Arts de Cannes for many years and recently ed the group of painters of the Roseraie in Cannes.
