Constantin Cozma is creating figurative drawings and paintings as a way of expressing human condition in its dynamic beauty and complex dialectics. With a background in architecture and philosophy, Constantin approaches his art with both intuition and rationality.

He ires  classical masters and the academic tradition but is in a constant exploration of contemporary techniques and methods of achieving harmony, therefore there is a touch of expressionism in most of his paintings.

The mediums he uses are mainly watercolor and acrylics, with an overall warm palette.

For Constantin, the portrait is not just aestethics but a process of observation.  Realism is not photorealism but his personal views and emotions which he is trying to convey   through each of his artworks.
