Cristian Bustos is a contemporary Argentinian sculptor. Since 2010, he has been a visual artist by vocation, starting with a bicycle modification project. He later ventured into graphic design, acting, and theater teaching, before returning to sculpture in 2022.
Cristian creates sculptures using recycled materials he finds at home, on the street, or from acquaintances. He has a preference for iron and frequently works with wood, especially pallets from a neighbor’s furniture workshop. His approach involves reusing and repurposing materials to give them new life.
Operating from a small workshop equipped with basic tools such as a grinder, a screwdriver, a welder, and various hand tools, Cristian is gradually investing in new equipment to improve the quality and scale of his work. He actively participates in craft fairs throughout Mendoza, showcasing his unique sculptures to the public.
