Biography of Elena Baglai Nikolic
Elena Baglai Nikolic, born in 1973 in Kazan, Russia, studied painting under Professor M.A. Vagapov and drawing under Professor A.G. Khamidullin from 1991 to 1996 at the Kazan Art School named after N.I. Feshin. Post-graduation, she pursued a career as a designer-decorator and studied abstract painting under R.I. Nafikov, a Latvian Academy of Arts graduate.

- March 2014: Solo exhibition at "Queen of Montenegro Gallery," Montenegro.

Since 2009, Elena has run a private art school in Budva, successfully teaching students who continue their education at prestigious universities in Montenegro, England, the Czech Republic, and Russia. She developed a unique teaching method, transforming her knowledge into a comprehensible system fostering creative abilities and contemporary art understanding.
Elena works in painting, graphics, and creates decorative art s and sculptures from ceramics, wood, wool, and fabric. Her works are part of many private collections in Montenegro and abroad. She continues to paint, teach, and work as an interior designer, with practice in Russia from 1998 to 2009 and in Montenegro from 2009 to the present.
She lives and works in Budva, Montenegro.
