What will remain? Will there be anything else on Earth after humanity? I believe that our planet Earth will survive. Maybe not forever, but it will definitely outlive humanity. We are just a small episode in cosmic events. All man-made things will disappear sooner or later, one after the other. Nature will have its power and take this planet back. [...]
These thoughts led me to create this work of art. It is my version of the time after a city has lost its citizens in the long run. Only the reflection is visible in the structure, a fading memory of the particles - but in reality, skeletons of the former buildings and dust remain.
After this phase, nature can regenerate and make this planet a more stable and beautiful place.
