From his father, an artist, Ema Kato was so much inspired by his father's beautiful artworks that he always created. Ema Kato started practicing his art skills since childhood which he has continued to develop over the years. With so much love, Ema created paintings since his childhood. With from his father, the love for art couldn't stop growing. Ema Kato was also inspired by other African artists that he met on exhibitions and art fairs in Uganda which pushed him into doing a lot of works associated with the African lifestyle during his early stages.
For years now, Ema Kato has continued to take more steps into the art world, with an aim of hitting the international scene. He has continued to attain exposure and also win some awards.
Ema Kato creates artworks of different themes and subjects; from animals to people, birds, nature, landscapes etc with no limitations in style. He has continued to impress the art scene with a unique style in mixed media art which is a combination of acrylics and pieces of fabric cloth.
