"As a young person I noticed i felt a variety of senses of emotion that came from the color and geometric shapes in nature. In art museums I found myself looking into the color and texture of the layers in paintings and imagined I was seeing a new emotion in the artist's subject - a change in perspective as time moved through the development of the painting. I loved this expression and I too find myself creating changing moss over the time of the piece. It's a wonderfully complex and simple evolution!"
