About the author t1i28
Self-taught by obligation, photographer by accident, computer graphics tinkerer by play, ionate about the relationship between images, reality and emotions. I live and work on the banks of the Loire in the village of LA BOHALLE.
Born in the early 1960s in the Deep South, I emigrated to the Wild West in the late 1970s. In the early 1980s, I worked as a public school teacher in Catholic Anjou. In the 1990s, I turned to the social and psychological sorting of pre-pubescent adolescents, a profession that I practiced in mainland and overseas without displeasure during the 2000s and 2010s while trying my hand at local journalism, novel writing, and audiovisual fiction. At the beginning of the 2020s, I took a well-deserved retirement on the banks of the Loire and I was finally able to have the time and space necessary to throw myself "body and soul" into my photographic creations.
The trace left by the movement of a body in space says something about its fragility as well as its way of being in the world, also reveals its strengths, its gentleness or its violence.
The photographic device used distances the model from the pose, lets the unexpected escape, the surprise to come. The resulting blur "opens the vision to the troubled dimension of the body and time. It is at once sensation, emotion and impulse to act, image and questioning of the image.
FOR YOUR ORDERS, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CHOOSE A MATTE FINISH (Photo Rag Paper 308g). THIS IS A VERY NICE PAPER THAT I USE FOR MY EXHIBITION PRINTS.
