World Art Dubai
World Art Dubai, the largest art fair in the MENA region, which stands for the Middle East and North Africa (Middle East and North Africa), returns for its 11th edition from April 17 to 20, 2025, with a VIP preview on April 16, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This prestigious event brings together over 400 artists and galleries from 65 countries, offering visitors an immersive journey through more than 10,000 artworks. Following the success of the previous edition, which attracted 15,000 visitors, World Art Dubai 2025 promises an even richer experience, combining creativity, innovation, and interaction. Visitors will be able to discover live performances, workshops, and lectures led by experts from the art world. Under the leadership of curators Batool Jafri, Samar Kamel, and Gottfried Eisenberger, with the expertise of art advisor Petra Kaltenbach, this edition is set to be exceptional.

The 2025 edition highlights a selection of artists from the ArtMajeur platform, recognized for the richness and originality of their creations. Albert Karoyan, an Armenian architect and artist, reveals meticulously detailed compositions where the influence of medieval miniature art meets the architectural precision of his drawings and paintings. Amirata Winter, an Iranian artist living in Switzerland, presents works that reflect the wonderful beauty of nature and the complex tapestry of cultures that have marked her journey. She masterfully combines these multifaceted influences with her unique perspective, giving rise to creations that are not only visually stunning but also deeply thought-provoking. Each brushstroke conveys total involvement, infusing her work with sincere emotions and her life experiences. Amita Dand, an Indian self-taught artist, transports the viewer into an abstract world where textures and shades evoke deep and intimate emotions. Finally, Daria Avdeeva, originally from Russia and now based in Dubai, offers a contemporary vision of portraiture, where faces inspired by Klimt, Schiele, and Botticelli stand out for their intensity and richness of contrasts.

Artists such as Ekrem Yilmaz, Irina Collins, Leloluce, Lewis Deeney, and Irina Laube also bring their unique touch to this edition, enriching the whole with a fascinating variety of approaches and techniques. Irina Laube, a contemporary painter based in , continually explores new methods and materials. Starting from a realistic base, she expands her art to incorporate multiple inspirations, including nature, memories, and emotions, while playing on the interaction between past and present.
Among these talents, Leloluce, aka Lucie Legrand, stands out with her luminous art, a fusion of street art, pop art, and cubism. With acrylics and resin, she creates dynamic works, often inspired by iconic characters from pop culture, such as Garfield and Mickey Mouse. Her practice also extends to sculpture, where she blends elegance and energy, particularly through "Lelocat," a work merging pop culture and graffiti.
These artists, each with their own universe, offer a captivating panorama of contemporary creativity, blending digital art, abstract painting, sculpture, and visual arts.
