Born and raised in Tirana, she was drawn to the visual language of mosaic from a young age, inspired by the rich artistic traditions of the Balkans and the timeless myths of ancient Greece. Greek mythology, in particular, plays a central role in her work, with goddesses, heroes, and symbolic motifs often appearing in her intricate designs.
In a field historically dominated by men, she carved her own path, becoming a trailblazer for women artists in Albania. Her mosaics explore themes of nature, Albanian folklore, and mythology, each piece crafted with patience, precision, and poetic depth.
She has held three solo exhibitions in Tirana and has participated in a group exhibition alongside other notable artists. Now sharing her art with a global audience, Erieta continues to create from her studio in Tirana, driven by a ion to preserve and evolve this timeless art form.
