My main work is on a sports theme. But the works are generally not about sports, not about a healthy lifestyle, but about people who strive for something, overcome themselves and improve themselves. Sports in the paintings are just a means to draw a parallel, for example, between a fighter on the tatami and a fighter "in life", between the interaction of a coach and a student and the interaction of a father and son, between a boy who wants to succeed in sports and a boy who has big plans for the future.
I used to do a little martial arts, but now I just lead an active lifestyle and the sports atmosphere is very familiar to me, so I am interested in revealing some topic through the image of physical education. After all, in life everything is like in sports: there are trainings, there are responsible moments, there is overcoming and exiting the comfort zone, it's just that for athletes all this is almost on the surface and clearly expressed.
As for the style - I remain true to realism. Although, according to popular opinion, it is not fashionable now, but for me the content is much more important. And in order to "grow" a painting with meaning, it is necessary to constantly be in search of new themes and compositional solutions. This is an irreplaceable and often lengthy process of work, requiring the artist to immerse himself in the material. As a rule, from the idea to execution, you need to make a huge number of sketches, sketches, studies, etc. constantly write, landscapes, portraits and still lifes from life, in order to be in shape. After all, an artist, like an athlete, cannot live without training.
