Self-taught, after studying at the Art Institute of Nove in Bassano del Grappa, I became familiar with the craft in the daily routine of work, one day after another, acquiring the awareness of having mastery of the material I find myself working with.
I think of myself as "a collector artist", attracted by objects of unusual shapes and sizes, by different types of material even if marble remains the favorite.
Manufactured objects that perhaps have imperfections and streaks, or broken and abandoned in some flea market, which thus have a history that gives them an additional intrinsic value.
Giving life back to something that apparently is no longer used is an increasingly necessary operation in our society saturated with things that too quickly become superfluous and go out of fashion.
Art for me is not just a great ion. It is a true vocation, which completes me as a person by moving me, and through it, I try to move those who look at and know my work and my works.
