My name is Chroma and my story is one of unexpected transformation. Born in 1988 in the suburbs of Paris, I grew up far from the art world. For nearly fifteen years, I served in the national police, a rigid and often painful world. Then, in 2015, during the Bataclan attacks, my life was turned upside down. I was there that night. The scenes of chaos, terror, broken lives... These images are etched in me, leaving an indelible mark.

After this event, I sank for three long years. I lost myself, overwhelmed by nightmares and a feeling of emptiness. It was in the heart of this despair that I discovered art, an unexpected refuge. At first, my creations were dark, chaotic, reflecting the pain I carried within me. I experimented, failed, but art became a way to exorcise my demons.

One day, I discovered the Xpen Artist Pro graphics tablet and the Krita software, and it changed the way I create. Digital technology gave me a new freedom, an infinite palette of possibilities. Little by little, I learned to channel my emotions through my works, transforming my wounds into colors and shapes.

In 2020, I decided to share my work with the public. It was like a rebirth. My creations, which were once my personal outlet, found their place on the international stage. Today, they travel much more than I do, from New York to Hong Kong, from Paris to Dubai. My art is exhibited on four continents, and knowing that my works resonate with people from different cultures is a huge source of pride.

But success is not what motivates me. What matters to me is living my ion to the fullest. After leaving the police, I devoted myself entirely to art. I do not seek recognition. My only desire is to continue creating, exploring, touching people through my works.

The name Chroma is not a simple pseudonym. It means "color", and for me, color symbolizes the light after the darkness. It represents my redemption, my rebirth. Each shade in my creations tells a part of my story, my scars, but also my hope. Color is what saved me, it is the language through which I express what words cannot say.

I do not aim for glory, just to live in this universe where art is my life. If my works provoke an emotion, a reflection, then my goal is achieved. Chroma is the story of a man who found the light in the middle of the darkness, and who today shares this light with the world.
