Iris DAVAINE exerce en tant que peintre depuis 2008. Formée à Paris et ayant exercé plusieurs années aussi bien à l'échelle nationale qu'internationale, elle a désormais posé ses pinceaux à St Paul de Vence. Son œuvre se situe à la limite entre art et artisanat : fresques, enseignes, lettrage, dorure, vitrines peintes, fausses matières, trompe l’œil . Sur des murs, des vitres, des panneaux mobiles, du mobilier, ou des véhicules.
Plus récemment, c’est l’apprentissage de la technique de la dorure sous verre (verre églomisé) qui est venu étoffer son inspiration.
