This painting is part of the Four Seasons series. The male figure of autumn is depicted holding a cluster of grapes, his body adorned with vibrant grape leaves—a symbol of harvest, abundance, and the age of time. The composition is bathed in warm hues of pink and yellow, evoking the golden glow of autumn sunsets and the gentle fading of summer’s warmth.
I created this series after my first journey to Paris. During my visit, I spent most of my time in the antique culture department of the Louvre, drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of the past.
Hidden within each painting, on its inner side, is a age from my personal diary, written in my native Ukrainian language—a message that only the owner of the artwork can see. This piece reflects my experience of overcoming depression and finding the path to a new life, capturing a deeply personal transformation through color, texture, and emotion.
