Ce tableau est peint dans une belle ambiance bleutée qui met en évidence le froid (évoqué notamment par la neige présente sur les sommets du Jura). Cette toile a été peinte en 5 couches translucides de faible épaisseur (s'approchant de la technique du glacis des peintres flamands).

J'essaie de rattraper le temps perdu depuis la fin de mon activité professionnelle qui n'avait aucun lien avec le milieu artistique. Mais ma fibre artistique est restée intacte et je l'exploite à présent au maximum !
Mon parcours dans ce domaine n'a rien de scolaire puisque c'est du "fait maison" … avec comme professeur mon mari, Philippe Juttens. Je l'ai toujours accompagné aux musées, expositions. Quand il était encore étudiant en arts plastique, je me fondais parmi les étudiants pour écouter ses professeurs. J'observais.
Aujourd'hui, j'ose enfin jouer avec les pinceaux !
Ma peinture est principalement figurative à l'huile ou à l’acrylique sur toile avec pinceaux, couteaux, éponges.
Mes sujets de prédilection sont principalement le lac de Genève et son jet d’eau, les couchers de soleil, les fleurs colorées.
J'aime mettre en évidence la luminosité et l'instantanéité du moment et notamment peindre les cieux qui sont particulièrement propices à la rêverie.
J’exprime de manière douce et vaporeuse la poésie de mes sujets.
J’utilise parfois les tons orangés pour accrocher le regard.
