Nathalie Millet, although recently entering the world of professional photography, is a long-time enthusiast, having managed to transform a hobby love into a full-fledged vocation. After a professional career as varied as it was captivating — ranging from industry to space planning, including events and creation — she finally devoted herself to photography with new energy, transforming it into a permanent career for a little less than a year.
Self-taught, Nathalie Millet has always had a camera in her hand, whether film or digital cameras. Her practice is mainly focused on street, urban and travel photography, areas where she explores spontaneity and the unexpected. His photography is marked by a constant search for surprise and vibration, devoid of any pre-established style — a deliberate choice that allows him to preserve his artistic freedom.
Nathalie sets no limits in of subjects or atmosphere. She lets herself be guided by her instinct, walking around urban neighborhoods for hours to capture moments of life, funny or offbeat scenes. His eye is attentive to details and originality, often attracted by lines and color. She favors digital and avoids the telephone, preferring a direct approach with her camera.
His affection for humans and others is at the heart of his work, particularly in street photography, although approaching people remains a daily challenge. The street, with its movement and fascinating details, is a constant field of exploration where Nathalie gives free rein to her curiosity and her sense of observation. For her, each reflection, attitude, color or light is an opportunity to capture an emotion or a part of herself.
