According to legend, it was 1813 when Spree, the firecat, succumbed to cancer. His fur father, the teaser was so devastated he swore to all the gods that he would do anything to bring back his beloved fur friend. After several trials and challenges ala Odysseus (even suicide so his spirit could travel faster than his mortal body), the teaser finally slipped into Cathalla. This was the haven where the spirits of all departed cats congregated. Getting into the sanctuary was quite easy, but getting out was another story. With almost a million sentinels all over the place, the duo couldn't escape. Eventually, they were surrounded and captured. Mobs of guards tried to separate them but to no avail. They clung to each other like there was no tomorrow. Their love was such that the gods took pity on them. They finally allowed the teaser to be the first human spirit in Cathalla. And so as all good stories ended, the teaser and the firecat lived together happily ever after. In this caffeine-induced tableau, the teaser and the firecat were surrounded by the Cathalla sentinels whom they were trying to elude. The title of this narrative was taken from a Cat Stevens 1970s album.
