Philippe Berthier is a self-taught photographer who creates images that blur the boundaries between photography and painting. He is fascinated by images of all formats, whether film or digital, and sometimes adds paint to them.

He is particularly drawn to themes of women, life and movement in general. His work is marked by the experimentation of various methods of creation, collages on different s, the use of various materials... Like an alchemist in his lair, the laboratory is for him a field of experience apart.

Philippe Berthier is a French artist, born in 1966 in Maine et Loire, who currently lives and works in Trébeurden (). His work has been published in the magazine Artension (), and he has participated in numerous exhibitions.
