Maurice Pricco is an experienced self-taught photographer who refuses to limit himself to just one area of photography. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and versatility, he aspires to become a true “polytechnician” of photography. For him, the diversity of situations and techniques is essential, and he rejects any form of confinement in a restricted comfort zone.

Sharing is at the heart of his photographic approach. Convinced that knowledge and works must be shared, Maurice founded a photo club with the aim of promoting the exchange of techniques and thoughts on works. Likewise, he favors group exhibitions where he can share his photographic values with his peers. Participating in numerous group exhibitions, he finds real pleasure in with visitors, hoping to captivate them more with his photographs than with the accompanying texts.

Although he considers himself a professional producing personal work, Maurice insists that he is above all a photographer, not an artist, although his photos are artistically accomplished. Inspired by Walker Evans' quote about the infinite possibilities of photography, Maurice Pricco continually seeks to push the boundaries of his art and capture the very essence of his subject through his lens.
