It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Mein Name ist Rea Schenk und ich mache Kunst. Fotokunst, digitale und tradierte Malerei und Mixed Media Art. Für mich und – wenn Sie wollen – auch für Sie.
Mit meinen Arbeiten möchte ich meine eigenen und die Geschichten und Gedanken der Rezipient:innen erlebbar machen und visuell-ästhetisch berühren. So verstehe ich meinen künstlerischen Prozess als einen Dialog zwischen mir und der Welt. Was mich im vermeintlichen Außen berührt und zu einer emotionalen oder auch kognitiven Auseinandersetzung einlädt, verarbeite ich nach den mir gegebenen Farben und Assoziationen in meinem eigenen transformativen Duktus, um es quasi "verdaut" der Welt zurückzugeben.
Kunst ist für mich eine Sprache für das Unsagbare – ein Weg, der Komplexität der Welt etwas entgegenzusetzen. Ein fundamentales Entwicklungstrauma durchzieht dabei meine Kunst und mein Leben – bewusst und unbewusst.
Als Künstlerin habe ich mir meine Fähigkeiten autodidaktisch angeeignet.
Als Ingenieurin und über das technischen Zeichnen habe ich zunächst meine Affinität zum Digitalen mit meiner Leidenschaft, dem Fotografieren, verbunden, seit ganz Kurzem aber arbeite ich nun auch mit traditionellen Malmitteln. Daher mein Alias cadcontent von CAD (computer aided design).
Meine Malerei ist wohl am ehesten im abstrakten/lyrischen Expressionismus zu verorten, es handelt sich um informelle/gestische Malerei, im Wesen intuitiv. Ich arbeite mit Acryl, Ölpastellen und Kreide, teilweise auch als Kollagen auf Leinwand oder Papier. Hier probiere ich mich spielerisch aus, da ich erst seit sehr kurzer Zeit analog arbeite.
Im digitalen Bereich bearbeite ich mit unterschiedlichsten Techniken von mir erstellte Fotos: Durch Überlagerungen einerseits, komplettes digitales Übermalen andererseits entstehen auf diese Art meist semiabstrakte/semifigurative Bilder, die ich i.d.R. auf Papier, Acryl oder Alu-Dibond ausdrucken lasse.
