This piece was inspired by song that I have always loved called “ Atari Baby “ by Sigue Sigue Sputinik .
I always pictured a cyber robot girl dancing to it in a dark and smoke filled bar on some distant off world colony. Made from biomechanical circuitry she dances for your enjoyment .
This piece was made by welding hundred of small rods together by hand . I also used some reclaimed gears as well as some steel mesh and chain for the pigtails.
The pieces stands 45.5 inches tall and is 22 inches wide at its widest point. the piece is 11.5 inches deep with the base plate. She weighs a total of 28.5 pounds. She is sealed to protect it from rust but is not meant to be displayed outdoors.
