I am very pleased to present a new work from the series “COWS CODED”: the expressively painted painting of a cow in the bright colors red, blue and pink. This painting is a continuation and at the same time a new addition to the series that I started in 2016.
The “COWS CODED” series arose from my preoccupation with the topic of factory farming and the often thoughtless consumer behavior of our society. Each work in this series, including the new painting, is intended to make the viewer think and create an emotional connection to the animals depicted. The expressive depiction of the cow on raw canvas gives the picture a special intensity and liveliness.
After several years of creative break and reflection within this series, this new work reflects a further development of my artistic expression. The decision for intense colors and dynamic brushstrokes remains a trademark of my work, and it serves to convey the inner emotions and energy of the animal.
The series “COW CODED” has continuously developed since its creation and remains a central part of my artistic engagement with social issues. This new painting is an example of my ongoing commitment to raising awareness through art and promoting dialogue about how we treat animals and nature.
In this work I painted with acrylic on canvas, stretched on a stretcher frame and it is protected against the effects of weather and dust by a varnish.
Dimensions: 100 x 100 cm
Unique, painted in my studio in 2024
Signed on the front and back. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.
