Svetlana Moiseyeva was born on March 27, 1977 in the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv.
In 1990 she graduated from the Chernihiv Art School.
From 1998 to 2003 she studied icon painting in the workshop of Jos Obdebeek at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, city of Gen, province of Limburg, Belgium.
