The Com This artworks projects was created specially for Swissotel the Bosporus. Mandala is the core idea, shape and composition of the work. Its geometry symbolizes order in the spiritual, metaphysical and emotional aspects. In ancient times it served as some kind of navigation and showed those who believe the way to sacred places. In Sanskrit, the word “mandala” means a “circle”. It can be square or triangle, but it’s always based on the shape of a circle. Mandala symbolizes the desire for spiritual life. Round Sun is the centre of the painting and the outer circle stands for the heavens, the comprehensive energy of the Universe.

Tina Saveleva is an Istanbul-based artist known for her exploration of imagined landscapes that balance between harmony and the complexity of human experience. Her work often divides into two main themes: serene, textured compositions inspired by nature, and dynamic, metaphorical representations of human emotions and freedom. Tina’s art reflects her deep connection to the natural world, with recurring motifs of birds and trees, and her experimentation with materials such as ceramics, metals, and marble textures. The artist is particularly drawn to themes of personal boundaries, inner growth, and the search for balance.

Tina received her classical academic training in oil painting at the Southern Urals, followed by further study and work in Italy, where she gained experience with textured materials while working in Catholic churches. Long-term collaborations with architectural firms have significantly influenced her artistic approach. She has exhibited her work in Rome, Moscow, New York, Milan, and Istanbul.

Tina’s work is part of numerous private collections, and she continues to participate in international art fairs. She is currently planning new collaborations in Dubai, aiming to bring her unique artistic vision to a broader audience.
