Uwe Bauch, born in 1966 in a small town in Vogtland in the former GDR, is an artist photographer dedicated to contemporary photography for over 30 years. In 2009, he began working as a freelance photographer with international image agencies, which allowed him to see his works published in travel magazines and specialized journals.

In 2013, Uwe Bauch organized an individual exhibition entitled "Weltweit" in Nuremberg, where he presented his photographs taken during his travels in the most remote regions of the world. It was during his youth that his ion for travel and photography developed. Thanks to a regular practice of photography, his images become more and more professional.

His interest is increasingly focused on landscape and nature photography, which captivate with their minimalist and awe-inspiring beauty, while being threatened by climate change and environmental destruction. Uwe Bauch prefers to photograph animals in their natural habitat, capturing the true essence of their existence.

At the same time, he immortalizes fascinating places around the world, highlighting their architectural splendor as well as places steeped in memories and nostalgia. He also captures the ephemeral of street photography, where every moment is there for a minute before disappearing forever.

His second ion is digital art. This one was born from a transmission error called "digital glitch", which alters the image files. Uwe Bauch then manipulates these altered images to accidentally merge them into abstract digital patterns.

After emigrating to the Federal Republic of in 1985, Uwe Bauch moved to Nuremberg, where he has lived ever since. His artistic career demonstrates his unwavering ion for photography, as well as his commitment to capturing and preserving the beauty of the world while drawing attention to the environmental challenges we face.
