My name is Lera. I draw. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t — but my hands keep reaching for paper, and there’s not much I can do about it.
I studied at an art school — like many: gouache, still lifes, plaster noses. Then I stopped drawing for a long time. And then I started again. No grand plan, no big idea — I just needed to.
I work with pencils, markers, sometimes glue strange things together. I love it when a drawing breathes, when it’s not perfect but alive. Nature, chance moments, a certain feeling — all of it asks to be put on paper.
For now, I’m sharing my work little by little, with a bit of nervousness but also with curiosity. I hope that something in what I do resonates with someone. And if someone looks, smiles, or re something of their own — then it was worth it.
