"A woman has always been and will certainly continue to be an important inspiration in my work.
Perhaps I am most attracted to paint the beauty of the female body from behind. At least I perceive a woman painted from behind as more mysterious, seductive, alluring, more erotic than when I paint her from the front.
The pose from behind teases and stimulates the male fantasy. The viewer tries to imagine her face, which he cannot see, and from the woman's pose he intuitively feels some of the characteristics and givens of the unknown woman, he even often feels the infinite depth of the woman's soul. At least that's what visitors to exhibitions and social networks often tell me or write...
I try to paint a woman in such a way that the viewer is captivated so much that he wants to touch her, caress her, hug her, whisper a few words in her ear..."
