Have you ever felt like you’re losing touch with yourself? When inner lightness gives way to anxiety, and serenity is replaced by a growing sense of responsibility? And then, one day, you realize you’ve changed so much that you barely recognize yourself.
This painting speaks to that very moment — when we begin, almost imperceptibly, to dissolve and adapt to circumstances, losing the person we once were and slowly transforming into someone else.
Venus — the timeless ideal of beauty — becomes a metaphor for a vanishing inner wholeness. Nothing lasts forever. Even this centuries-old symbol of harmony and perfection must eventually disappear, just as it has in our modern world.
It is especially difficult, for a woman, to accept that youth, former beauty, and effortless lightness are now part of the past. But ahead lies acceptance, release, and the discovery of new facets of the self…
The series of five paintings “Mirage of Youth” explores the boundary between fading youth and the approaching maturity. It is a personal journey where the fear of growing up, nostalgia, acceptance, and faith in the beauty of every age intertwine. The works are based on my self-reflection and thoughts on the perception of time and oneself. Pink symbolizes my inner child, while yellow represents the soul and heart. The images of ancient statues — timeless symbols of beauty and harmony — dissolve over time in these works, reminding us of the transience of youth and the eternal desire to preserve one’s true essence.

An artist exploring the depths of the human soul through symbolic and conceptual imagery.
My works balance between dreams and reality, revealing a world of inner experiences and the search for meaning. I want to show people that they are not alone in their fears, doubts, and emotions. As an introvert, I am deeply fascinated by the human soul—its complexities, contradictions, and hidden subpersonalities. We all contain multitudes of emotions, and through my art, I help viewers recognize these facets within themselves, embrace them, and find harmony.
I am drawn to surrealism because it gives me the freedom to express subtle, elusive sensations that cannot be conveyed through realism. Many of my works are inspired by my dreams—vivid, rich in details and symbols, leaving behind a sense of mystery. These dreams demand to be captured on canvas, and when I paint, I relive them, uncovering their deeper meanings.
I prefer creating collections, uniting several works under a single theme. This approach allows me to explore ideas in depth, examine them from multiple perspectives, and offer the viewer a more immersive experience. My primary mediums are acrylic, oil, and tempera, which I use to create the right atmosphere and emotional impact.
I have been drawing since childhood—at the age of six, I knew I would become an artist and never strayed from this path. My entire education has been art-related: I have explored design, illustration, light industry, and digital art, but ultimately, I returned to painting. It is through painting that I can express what I truly want to share with the world.
